In the early 1990s, Cincinnati had very few ordinations to the priesthood. Now they have between 4 and 8 priestly ordinations every year! Here are some tips on how to create an increase in priestly vocations, that are excerpted from an interview by Rich Leonardi with Fr. Kyle Schnippel, the Director of Vocations:

• have a large family
• help interested men to discern their vocation
• proclaim the Truth in it’s beauty
• tell the people that there is a need for priests
• pray for vocations
• support and encourage your priests
• do not let lay people take over certain important functions that should be reserved for priests
• priests must exercise fidelity to liturgy.
