What does Scrooge mean in stave 4 of the christmas carol before he sees his grave?

What does Scrooge mean or hope for when he says "Men's courses will foreshadow certain ends, to which, if persevered in, they must lead." "But if the course be departed from, the ends will change. Say it is thus with what you show me!"

What one does in his life will determine how they will die, and if they stick to this way of life, they will die this way. But if the way of life is changed, the end will change. Tell me this is what you mean to show me!

Toddler Easter Basket

Would This Be Good For a Toddler easter basket?

I have a 2-year-old daughter and a 2-year-old son. In their Easter baskets, I like to put more than just candy. I was thinking of giving them each one of these.
http://www.gifts.com/search/product/Nyokki-Pets-set-of-2-?ideaID=7433&prodID=68280

Do you think they would understand it? They are pretty advanced for their age I would say. What do you think?

Of course they will get plenty of other more kid-friendly things.
I put some jelly beans and chocolate in there. They are only allowed to eat so much at a time, we hold on to it. I'm not going to totally cut off candy, like you said they are 2!

Thats a cute idea and no a two year old is not to young for these. It will help them learn a new skill and most kids love doing these kind of things... especially if it makes them feel older/bigger doing something like that.

Easter Holidays - Book Your Getaway Now

Easter is not far away and you need to start planning now.

When an Easter holidays arrives there will be millions of pounds of chocolate over the tables of Americans and on many other places across the world. Some easter eggs and bunnies will be hidden though, because that has become a tradition on many places too. And children will be searching thoroughly to find them and then voraciously eat them.

Getting away for some sun in Europe this Easter break may be touch and go because this year the holiday falls rather inconveniently in the last week of March, much earlier than it has in the last few years. However, only two hours away by air the Venice offers a marvelous family holiday alternative that includes guaranteed sunshine and lots to do for everyone..

Spring is finally here, and many people are heading off for a well deserved holiday, thanks to the Easter holiday break. Many families will travel out of the UK to go to various locations around the world. Some of the more popular locations are the Canaries, Spain, Majorca, Cyprus, Greece, Turkey, as well as the Caribbean. Due to the school holidays, it is best to find a holiday package well in advance. Not doing so can result in higher travel expenses, as well as possibly missing out on the locations that are truly desired to visit.

Looking for something besides the traditional egg hunt to celebrate Easter? It's a tradition that kids have enjoyed for years, but there is more to the season than the easter bunny and jelly beans. It's a great time for parents to enjoy the festivities with the kids and get help everyone learn a little more about the history and meaning of the holiday. Here are some ideas that will make this easter fun for everyone!

If you are just crazy about history then you should visit Venice in Italy. The rich historical culture of the city is one sight no one can ever forget. Venice is a city of water and only pedestrian’s city of the world.

Where to Stay

Most Budapest Hotels offer special Easter packages. Note that you should book your accommodation well in advance, because a lot of tourists visit Venice at Easter every year. Stay at a 5* or 4* Club Hotel, and everything important will be within easy reach. Price of Easter packages in 5 or 4 star hotels is around £ 187.14 ,double room/3 nights.

Things to do in Venice during Easter Vacations

Gondola

The historic city center is almost completely free of cars so why not get around in style and opt for a gondola ride through narrow canals under picturesque bridges. This traditional form of transport is not cheap, but does allow travelers to really soak up the essence of Venice - partcularly if the gondolier serenades passengers during the journey.

Bridge of Sighs

Named by Lord Byron, who imagined the sighs of convicts taking in their last view of Venice before being imprisoned, the Bridge of Sighs was built in the 1600s and crosses the Rio di Palazzo. Travelers can pass underneath it in a gondola, take photos from the nearby Ponte della Paglia or take a closer look during a tour of the Doge's Palace.

sorry, apologize, apologies, apologized, apology,

Some of you regular visitors to this blog may have realized that you couldn't gain access the last one week or so.

I'm so sorry. I messed up.

I changed my web hosting provider and I goofed up as I didn't transfer all the required files. I finally corrected it last night. Thanks for your patience.

If you want to avoid such embarrassing things while blogging check out the finer point of blogging that I describe below.
I'm evaluating a multi-media course on blogging from the folks at Simpleology. For a while, they're letting you snag it for free if you post about it on your blog.

It covers:

Aussie football stars come out for gay rights

Despite the Australian government’s reluctance to embrace hot-gay-issue of the moment, same-sex marriage, the country’s hottest rugby stars have joined an online campaign to fight discrimination against gay men and women in sport.

Members of a high profile Australian national rugby team have lent their support to the This is Oz campaign, an online photo project raising awareness about homophobia and anti-gay discrimination. Al Baxter, Stephen Moore, Dave Peacock and Stirling Matlock from the Australian Wallabies appear on the campaign’s website holding hand-written placards promoting inclusiveness for gays and lesbians in the sporting world.

The players, invited by gay rugby team the Sydney Convicts, holders of the Bingham Cup - the International Gay Rugby Association’s world championship, posed for photos to champion the project. Both celebrities and the public have been contributing to the online photo gallery that celebrates diversity and social inclusion.

“To have representatives of the national rugby union team taking a public and positive stance against homophobia speaks volumes to counter negative stereotypes. It also sends a message to the many young players that their role models at the professional level accept diversity and support our community.” said Sydney Convicts president, Charlie Winn.

Gay rights have been in the Australian media spotlight recently following the government voting no on legalizing same sex marriage. Undeterred by “A National Day Of Action” which saw demonstrations and 150 illegal same-sex weddings taking place outside an ALP conference, Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd remains adamant that marriage is “between a man and a woman”.

A recent poll showed that 60 percent of Australians think that same-sex couples should be allowed to marry.
